I am a board member of the Ozark Rivers Audubon Chapter of National Audubon in Rolla, MO. Our Chapter owns a 70 acre property that we have developed into a nature center with 4 miles of hiking trails. We are restoring native Ozarks habitat by removing invasive plants and utilizing other means of habitat management. I have an B.S. in biological sciences and am a retired physician who loves the outdoors and birdwatching. Developing Audubon Trails Nature Center has become an avocation for me and I enjoy seeing our visitors walking the trails and enjoying the plants and wildlife that are attracted to the nature center.
