Mitch Leachman is the Executive Director of the St. Louis Audubon Society. He is also the coordinator of the Bring Conservation Home program. He has been with St. Louis Audubon since 2008. In addition to coordinating chapter activities, in addition to Bring Conservation Home, he also participates in community stewardship projects, fundraising, communications and outreach.
Mitch was the keynote speaker at the Ozark Rivers Audubon Annual Banquet last March and he gave a very informative and interesting presentation about the importance of native plants for pollinators and wildlife. He ended his presentation with a discussion of Bring Conservation Home, which has become quite popular in the St. Louis area. We are very glad that Mitch has agreed to give a talk at this year’s Fall Native Plant Sale, Birding & Pollinator Festival.
Interested in native plants, the current plight of pollinators or wildlife conservation? Plan on hearing Mitch’s talk!
